We reserve the right to postpone any booking due to bad riding conditions such as rain, extreme heat or heavy winds. We don’t want any unpleasant or even dangerous situations for you, our horses and the team! In case this happens, we’ll agree on a new date and time of your liking.
Extra note about children
Kindly note that we unfortunately can’t take children younger than 6 on a ride in the Reserve. The Sunrise and Sunset Trails are only suitable for children if they already have some horse riding experience. Otherwise we recommend to book the 1 hour Mid-morning or Afternoon Trail, or the special Meet & Greet option below.
Meet & Greet
In between these trail times, you have the opportunity to book a 15 minute Meet & Greet with our horses at MK 20,000 per adult or MK 12,000 per child.
You learn more about horses and their behaviour, you can help feeding or grooming them and take as many selfies as you like! If you want, you can also sit on a horse for some photos.

We loved it and can’t wait for another ride
A beautiful ride through the forest and fields of Kuti Wildlife Reserve. After a warm welcome and some admin we went to greet the horses and saddle up, before heading off into the bush. With a great guide, lovely horses, and here and there some wildlife sightings we had a fabulous morning. We loved it and can’t wait for another ride. Recommended for anyone who wants to get close to nature and experience Malawi a different way!
